Pastor Halldor was ordained to the ministry of Word and sacraments in the United Church of Christ on Sunday, November 14. Many members from Church of the Redeemer attended the ordination service which was held at Pilgrim Congregational UCC in Cleveland. Rev. Nayiri Karjian, Association General Minister in the UCC officiated at the ordination, Rev. Dr. Emlyn Ott pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and a Associate Professor at Bexley Seabury Seminary preached, Rev. Arlen G. Vernava intentional interim minister at Pilgrim led prayers and welcomed those gathered. Music was offered by Shanelle Cook for Church of the Redeemer and Leonard DiCosimo from Pilgrim.
