Join us on Sundays at 10:30 am in the historic Redeemer Sanctuary for worship rooted in Scripture and tradition, in conversation with reason and experience, that is relevant to our shifting modern world.

We follow a modified United Methodist liturgy and order of worship, including an invitation to worship, call-and-response prayers, and sung responses. Our worship also pulls from the spiritual practices of our faith kindred; a service may include extended silence, Taize-style worship, or contemplative imagination. Guest preachers and special musicians offer theological breadth and depth and speak effectively to any number of issues that face the kindom.

Gender Inclusive Language

God’s nature and that of creation transcend male-centered language and the political imagery evoked by many titles used to describe the Creator and Jesus Christ, the Word. To reflect the exquisite diversity of God and creation, we make every effort to use gender inclusive or gender neutral language when referring to God and to use great care when referring to imperial titles such as Lord, King, etc.

Redeemer is blessed with a rich and talented congregation who share their talents during worship. We incorporate traditional music from the United Methodist Hymnal and The Faith We Sing with modern worship music and masterpieces from classical, theatrical, and Gospel traditions as well. We are happy to welcome a wide variety of special musicians to lead worship. Learn more about music at Redeemer by visiting our Music page.

Our worship services are anchored by a strong, Scripturally-based sermon delivered by Pastor Shannon, one of our talented lay speakers, or guest speakers invited by the congregation. Most of our sermons are part of a multi-week series designed to dig deeper and build on the lessons we take from week to week. Visit the main Worship page for a sneak peek of upcoming series!

Special Sundays

Several Sundays throughout the year are occasion for special services celebrating the life of our congregation or events around the globe that speak to our mission as followers of Christ. We also recognize some special Sundays designated by the United Methodist Church.
