There is a rapid increase of COVID cases in Cuyahoga County. The omicron variant of the COVID is highly contagious and part of caring for one another is to try to stay save and avoid spreading the disease.
We are going to have a Christmas Eve Worship in-person and on zoom at 7 PM tomorrow, with few adjustments to some of our traditions. If you are uncertain about attending, we invite to stay home and join us on Zoom. If you plan to attend in-person we ask that you wear a good quality mask, and be extra careful in following our COVID protocols.
After some reflection and conversations with specialists, I have decided that the worship on Sunday December 26, and Sunday January 2 are going to be on zoom only. We will make decisions together about further changes to our worship plans in first week of the new year.
This is not a message that I like to send out, but it is the right thing to do at this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me through email, pastor@cleredeemer.org.
I hope and pray you stay safe during these troubling times.
Peace, Justice, and Joy,
Pastor Halldór
